Valley Solar Advisors ("we," "us") operates this website to help homeowners in Southern California understand their solar options and request a free solar assessment. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

If you complete our solar qualification quiz, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, city, homeownership status, approximate monthly electric bill, approximate roof age, general credit range, preferred contact time, and whether you consent to receive text messages. We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or payment information on this site.

How we use it — including sharing with our installation partner

We use your information to contact you about your free solar assessment. To provide that assessment, we share your information with our licensed local solar installation partner, who prepares your solar evaluation and may contact you directly. This sharing is the purpose of the form — it is how your assessment gets made.

We do not sell your information to data brokers, publish it, or share it with parties unrelated to your solar assessment.

Text messages (SMS)

We only send text messages if you check the SMS consent box on our form. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Opting out of texts does not affect your assessment — we can reach you by phone or email instead.

How your information is stored

Form submissions are processed by Netlify (our website host) and delivered to our business email. We keep lead information as long as needed to provide and follow up on your assessment, or until you ask us to delete it.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels of its own. Our hosting provider may collect standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to operate the service. If we add analytics or advertising measurement in the future, we will update this policy.

Your choices and rights

• Access or deletion: email us and we will tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
• Opt out of contact: reply STOP to any text, tell us on any call, or email us, and we will stop contacting you.
• California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law; contact us to exercise them.

Children

This site is intended for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
